2005 Wheelchair Ride report - See photos on the Photo Page.

The October 1, 2005 ride was attended by riders from across the valley. BKNV1 thanks the Red Riders, HOG, and HPD Choir Boys for their support.  The funds raised bought FIVE Wheelchairs that will be given to needy permanently handicapped individuals in Clark County.

If you didn't make it this year - See you in 2007!

Don't miss '07!

Thanks to many Blue Knights Clubs from outside Nevada and local riders our 2004 Blue Knights Nevada 1's  23rd Annual Charity Benefit (Poker Run) ride was a success.  We thank you all and especially Las Vegas Harley Davidson for supporting our club.

This ride was dedicated to our friend Amos Elliott. Amos held several offices in BKNV1 and was retired Deputy Chief of Las Vegas Metro PD.  On March 21, 2004, he transferred to Heaven 1. If you knew Amos please visit out Memorial Page

We made a total of $2,041.00. We paid Taste of Texas $425.00 for food, we paid the band $100.00. We had $205.00 in 5's and 1's to start with. We gave $5.00 out to the oldest rider ( Bobby Tubbs Col III 73) and youngest rider (Brain Mullins 9) and Bobby Tubbs who rode the furthest of 510 miles. Our total after this is $1311.00. We paid $942.00 for T-Shirts and pins. We made $369.00 for the charity. We had a total of 78 participants. GREAT JOB.

The following clubs participated Blue Knights - Calif II, Col III, Calif IV, AZ VI, BK of PA, HOG (with the most riders of 23), LV Choir Boys, Cal NV AZ Voyagers, Red Riders, Sun City Riders, GWRRA and Star Riding & Touring. If you know anyone in these groups let them know how much we appreciate their participation.

Clubs in So. Nevada and all Southwest Conference Blue Knights should send ride announcements to our Webmaster JJCahill@cox.net

Blue Knights Nevada 1 22nd Annual Charity Benefit Motorcycle Treasure Hunt had more riders than last year and we wish to thank our sponsors and those who gave great prizes:

The Imperial Palace Hotel and Vintage Car Museum - Las Vegas Harley Davidson - Henderson Harley Davidson - Boulder Choppers - Exotic Motorsports - World Motorcycle - The Wheelchair Foundation Nevada Chapter -

We want to thank the Clubs who made a special effort to turn out for the run.  Blue Knights California VI - HOG Southern Nevada - The Choirboys So. Nevada - and Mike Keefe, President, BKAZ2.

Twenty years ago, with a population of 250,000 and no competition, this ride turned out 300+ riders.  We are going to work to make this run just what it used to be.
